Travel & Visa Information

Request your letter of invitation and make your appointment for a visa interview early! The wait time for a visa interview may be several weeks or longer — especially during peak travel times. We recommend you place your request for a letter of invitation to attend Dealer Expo® 2011 as soon as possible.

These tips may make your visa interview process easier.

  • Request a letter of invitation from Dealer Expo 2011.
    • Email Christina Anders at canders@advanstar.com.
    • The sooner you request your letter of invitation, the better. With recent changes in the immigration laws, it may take longer to apply for a visitor visa.

  • Complete all information requested by Dealer Expo to process your letter of invitation. Please complete all information on the form to ensure that your letter contains the correct information you will need.

  • Schedule an appointment with your embassy as soon as you receive your visa letter. Make your appointment early as wait times can be long in some countries. Please request your letter of invitation before making your appointment and make sure you have your letter available for your interview.

  • Visit the State Department's website for visa information. Go to http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_1750.html to find out how to apply for a visa, fees and the methods of payment accepted by the embassy or consulate. The website also contains information on other requirements such as photographs.

  • Hold onto any material Dealer Expo sent you. With your application, include any materials Dealer Expo may have sent you. Include with your application any printed conference materials you receive from Dealer Expo to prove the show is a legitimate business event.

Please contact Christina Anders at canders@advanstar.com with any questions or concerns.
